RETAKES, REVISIONS, & AI POLICIES

  • Retakes (my mistake) are always free.
If I misread something, fumble a word, or send you a line that’s clearly off — I’ll fix it. No stress, no charge.

Revisions (you change the script after I’ve recorded):

    • Minor (1–2 words): $50

    • Major (3+ words): $100 minimum

    • Re-recording 30% or more of the script = original rate

    Performance Retakes (Undirected Sessions):
If you didn’t give live direction and want a different read, I’m happy to do one round of retakes at no charge.
After that, any new takes are considered revisions and billed accordingly. So if you’ve got a vibe in mind — conversational, warm, no-smile-but-not-grim — now’s the time to say so.

    Pronunciation Notes:
If you’ve got preferences like “eye-ther” vs. “ee-ther” or “zero” vs. “oh,” please let me know ahead of time. If I guess wrong and you want it changed later, it’ll be treated as a revision.

    Sending Revisions:
To keep things smooth and avoid back-and-forth confusion, please:

    • Highlight the lines in the original script

    • Include the sentence before and after (for flow)

    • If it’s video-based, include timecode

    • Tell me why the line is being revised (tone match, speed, pronunciation — it all helps)

    Timeline:
Change requests need to be submitted within 30 days of the original delivery.
After that, it’s considered a new job.

  • New domestic (US) and all international clients are billed upfront unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment is due before delivery of the files.

  • Let’s be clear:

By working with me, you agree not to use my recordings to create, train, or simulate any kind of synthetic voice, AI clone, or “digital double.”

    You also agree:

    • Not to use my recordings outside the scope we agreed on

    • Not to license or sell my voice to anyone else without my knowledge and written consent

    • Not to upload my files to any AI or machine-learning platform

    • Not to enter into contracts or deals on my behalf using my voice (seriously?)

If you're storing my audio digitally, you’re responsible for keeping it secure.
That means encrypted storage, no public links, and reasonable protection against unauthorized access — especially if you’re using cloud storage.

Thanks for respecting the work and the voice that goes into it.
