FAQs
What’s your process like?
Here’s the short version:
You send me your script.
You tell me how it’s being used and for how long (see “Usage and Duration” below).
I send you a quote — usually within an hour.
If we’re both good with the details, we move forward.
We talk tone, pace, vibe — whatever helps me nail the read.
I record, edit, and send you the audio.
You give it a thumbs up, or ask for changes.
I send the invoice.
You pay the invoice.
We pretend it was all way more dramatic than it was.
Can you do live, directed sessions?
Absolutely. I can hop on Zoom, Skype, or whatever your team uses. You direct, I record, we get it done. You'll hear me straight from the booth mic. I can send the raw session or a cleaned-up file afterward — your call.
Is there an extra charge for live sessions?
Nope. If you want to direct live, it’s included in the quote. I'm not nickel-and-diming you for basic communication.
What are your rates?
Rates vary by project. I follow industry standards (GVAA, GFTB, etc.), but every project’s a little different.

How are quotes calculated?
I base quotes on a few things:
GENRE: Commercial, corporate narration, e-learning, etc.
LENGTH: Word count, time, page count — whatever applies.
USAGE: Where it’s going (broadcast, web, internal, etc.).
DURATION: How long it’ll run (3 months, 6 months, 1 year…?)
BUDGET: Got one? Great. If not, I can help guide you toward industry norms.
If I don’t know usage and duration, I can’t quote accurately — so help me help you.
What’s your typical turnaround?
Most projects are turned around WITHIN ONE BUSINESS DAY, often faster.
If it’s longer, I’ll tell you upfront. Need it yesterday? Just ask. If I can make it happen, I will.
How do you deliver files?
Whatever works for you:
WAV, MP3, AIF, or whatever you need.
Delivery via email, WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, smoke signal — I’m flexible.
Want labeled split files? Let me know upfront.
What’s your policy on retakes and revisions?
If I mess something up — I fix it. No charge.
If you change the script after recording or want a new performance direction, that’s a revision and may be an additional fee.
